History / Experience

32 years in the highly competitive restoration industry.

1982

With little more than a garage full of equipment, a handful of hardworking laborers, and raw determination, Jose Cruz went from being employee to entrepreneur and ventured out into the highly competitive restoration industry.

1983 1999

Jose’s reputation as an honest, reliable contractor preceded him, and referrals for board-ups and contents cleaning jobs soon started to stream in. The growing work load made it possible for Mr. Cruz to add staff, expand services, and purchase a private warehouse in Itasca, Illinois. J.C. Restoration, Inc. was officially on the disaster restoration map and making quite a name for itself.

2000

Business remained steady, but competition was growing more and more fierce. In 2000, Mr. Cruz’s son Warner joined the team. With a fresh perspective, years of business training, and the same determination that carried his father’s company through two decades, Warner took the established business to new heights.

2001 Today

Under Warner’s direction, the company has more than doubled in size. Revenue records are set and celebrated, then promptly broken the following year. JCR has become a pace-setter for the restoration industry — providing the highest quality of service, using leading-edge equipment and technologies, and having the most highly-trained, knowledgeable staffs within each of its specialized divisions.

“My life mantra and business motto? WIN-WIN relationships.”

Warner Cruz,

President,

J.C. Restoration, Inc.

No stranger to sewage backups or carpet cleaning, Warner has been working in his family’s business that specializes in restoring residential and commercial properties that are affected by fire, flood, or storm damage since he was 10 years old. In 2001, Warner became the President and 100% stockholder of J.C. Restoration, Inc. located in Rolling Meadows, IL.

Warner has a B.A. in International Business Administration and Finance with a minor in Japanese from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL. Since 1997, Warner has attended over 200 Technical Restoration Seminars and has gained several designations in the disaster restoration field including his Certified Restorer #481.

With over 100 completed commercial losses under his belt ranging from high-rise buildings such as Chicago’s IBM building and Sears (now Willis) Tower to hospitals, food manufacturing plants and multi–unit apartments all over the country, Warner has developed key systems in successfully completing and collecting on large losses.
