Joliet, Illinois -- Flood Damage
Total Cost: $330,000
Torrential rain left six inches of water running through the school’s hallways. Almost 60,000 square feet of the school had been affected by the flood. JCR had experienced technicians on sight within an hour of receiving the call.
Rich Pagliaro, assistant superintendent for Joliet Central High School said that he was “very satisfied and impressed with J.C. Restoration’s speed and response time.”
The flooding occurred at 6:00 PM and by 7:30 PM a crew of 12-15 people were on the scene to start the mitigation
process. In total 500 air movers, 100 LGR dehumidifiers, and over 4,000 labor hours were used to mitigate this loss just in time for the doors to open for the school year.

Total Cost: $540,000
A chemical reaction is believed to have been the cause of this major fire in the commercial tenant complex, causing extensive damage to 12 units (175,000 square feet) of the facility. Heavy smoke and soot completely filled the building.
The JCR Large Loss recovery team was immediately
dispatched to begin the necessary emergency mitigation services. Crews set up temporary tarping, sealed up all biohazard-contaminated areas, and packed out contents for cleaning.
Within six days all tenants were able to move back into
the facility and resume business.

Lincoln Property
Rosemont, Illinois -- Water Damage
Total Cost: $190,000
A window left open on the 3rd floor is believed to have caused a pipe to freeze and break late one Sunday night, forcing the buildings property management company to contact JC Restoration for emergency services restoration.
This commercial class A building suffered water damage on multiple floors affecting 4 separate tenants and 18,000 square feet of office space.
Immediately, the JCR Large Loss Recovery Team mobilized and within 2 hours was on-site to assess the damages and start the mitigation process. The loss was mitigated in just six days by taking daily humidity readings, moisture
content readings, temperature adjustments and any
equipment adjustments necessary to dry out the
structure to normal levels.
